New boat dock!

The addition of a boat dock has made Atwood Lake more accessible.

Kayakers have used the dock to access their kayaks, and many people have fished off the dock since it was installed by volunteers and an offender work crew from Norton Correctional Facility.

Grant funds partially paid for the costs of constructing the dock, which was then made fully handicapped accessible through an addition funded by a Second Century grant. The dock was constructed locally by Carlson Industries.
